Canines and their handlers
Background
Our handlers are all volunteers from all walks of life and this diversity and combination of skills and trades contributes to us being educated, professional and dedicated volunteer search dog handlers.
We choose, purchase and own our own canines who lives with us at home. This ensures a true and close bond as each handler and canine forms a team which relies on trust, teamwork and endurance.
Volunteering our time to train our canines is our contribution to our community and the greater Australia. Our canines are selected for the work that they do, ensuring that they will always enjoy their training and work.
We train to high International standards and although sometimes difficult and takes time, do this to ensure that the missing, lost and injured will receive the best possible chance of being located and rescued by our canine teams.
The Heros on this site is really our canines who will ultimately give their life to save a life.
